Theatrical Tailoring
The complexities of traditional tailoring is explored in this class. Using a standard sack suit pattern, students create fully tailored wool coat to their measurements or those of a model. Students learn that tailors are “made” not born though practice and repetition of traditional techniques. Contemporary, speedier techniques are also examined and practiced.
