Fabric Painting and Dyeing
In this class, students learn the intricacies of fabric painting and dyeing, embellishment and distressing. Using RIT brand dye, fiber reactive and acid dyes, projects for this hands-on class include color mixing and matching, ombre, printing, painting and creation of pattern on fabric surfaces. Proper work habits and lab safety are modeled and stressed throughout the class.
